About us ...
My name is Tina De Suza, and I'm an artisan silversmith jeweller. We (myself and husband Greg) work out of our small workshop in Tinopai on the Kaipara Harbour, in the north of New Zealand.
Our work is mainly in sterling silver and copper, and often with gemstones, Czech glass and resin. All the sterling jewellery is handmade by us, using mostly the old traditional silversmithing methods, with some modern casting.
The kina and paua pendants and earrings are cast into solid sterling silver right here in New Zealand, and the original shells were gathered off NZ beaches. They are gorgeous! We've just added a range of tiny NZ sea shells such as scallops, cockles, snails and limpets - these make the most stunning earrings.
I also have a passion for original vintage cutlery, and love to transform these old relics into stunning wearable art pieces.
Our work is available through the stockists listed here on the Stockists page. This year (2020) we don't plan to attend any markets, but I do sell from our Facebook page.
